How do I find a mentor or preceptor?
Fill out this form to express your interest, and we will contact you right away!
Mentors will support you throughout your entire NP program and into your first job. Preceptor partners are selected based on clinical specialty, availability, and your geographical location.
Mentor vs. Preceptor- What is the difference?
A preceptor supervises and evaluates students during their clinical rotations. They focus on clinical skills, patient care, and ensuring that students meet program requirements in real-world healthcare settings.

A mentor provides ongoing support, guidance, and encouragement outside of the clinical setting. Mentors help students navigate the challenges of NP school, offering advice on career planning, work-life balance, and emotional well-being.
What qualifications do your mentors and preceptors have?
Our preceptor partners and mentors are certified NPs with extensive experience in their respective fields, ensuring that you receive the best guidance and support during your training. Preceptors also complete training on effective feedback and are evaluated by students after each rotation.
Is there a fee to use PreceptLink?
To provide training and retain highly qualified preceptors, there is a fee associated with preceptor connections through PreceptLink. Our NP mentorship program is included without additional cost. We provide transparent information during the registration process.
